Time
Sometimes I wonder what the meaning of time is. It was created by man as a measure of usage, but in the natural world it has no meaning.
Stalactites grow over eons, the birth of a star many millenium. The Earth is over 4 billion years old, but does it make any difference to know this?
So often I wonder why we use our time in such a senseless manner if it has so much meaning.
It would seem it only has meaning to us, the dominant life form. Every other thing under creation pays it no attention. So just maybe we’re wasting it instead of using it wisely.

It’s always strange when the sky darkens, but the sun is right there! Annular eclipses are always kinda cool, but unfortunately we weren’t at the right angle to actually see the phenomenon known as ‘The Ring of Fire’.
So this is happening right now. An annular eclipse, and these are some shots I managed to capture from my driveway using my old Mead telescope. Point at sun and viola! images of an eclipse on a dark backdrop.
